Did you ever watch Legally blonde? In one scene in the beauty shop the actress was demonstrating the bend and snap method of gaining some desirable attention. The method outlined below is, I’m sure, known to us all in some way, but I am just going to illustrate one form of it.

Venturing into the world of sexy BBW leather might be a challenge to some and sheer joy to others.  You ask, when I do decide to wear some leather lingerie, how will I know my lover will actually like it?

If you have leather lingerie already or are eager to jump in, then you might try the tease and simmer approach.

Any type of intimate apparel that you get – whether they’re corsets or plus size lingerie – needs to be cleaned carefully.  Lace, in particular, is a very delicate fabric and requires a certain level of care.  Cleaning delicate materials can get nerve wracking as you do not want to ruin your clothes.  Here are some quick tips on hand washing lace:• Fill the bathroom sink with cool water (not cold and not warm) and add some shampoo to the water.

• Put your lace stuff in there and squeeze the water through the garments several times.
• Then let the stuff sit in the sink for about 3 minutes and squeeze the water through again.
• Then empty the sink, fill with cool water and rinse by squeezing the clear water through the garments.
• Keep refilling the sink with clear water and squeeze and rinse until the water is no longer soapy and clear.
• Squeeze the water out of the garment well and then roll the articles in bath towel and squeeze well while wrapped in the towel. Then hang the stuff to dry.
• Don’t wring the articles, squeeze them. Wringing will ruin the garments.

Do you think your plus size leather corset can only be worn in private?

Think again.

As I mentioned in Plus Size Leather and the Timid Flower, leather corsets, bustiers and even great BBW leather bras can be worn casually or on more dressy occasions, under a jacket or alone, it’s up to you.

Depending on your lifestyle, you might try some of the great leather collars and cuffs available to add some unique touches to your look.

You ask – won’t people think, I’m masculine or Goth or something: Definitely not. Goth is not just how you dress but a culture including other characteristics in fashion, makeup, music and lifestyle to mention a few.

Too masculine? I think not. Wearing a black leather collar does not mean you have to wear a biker outfit with it. For example, when you go clubbing, match your leather corset with a great plain or studded collar. Perhaps start with a classy leather wrist band.

Remember though, whatever you’re wearing, walk tall and know you look incredible.

Thongs, as mentioned, are a must to stop the dreaded panty line from being the first thing that is noticed about your outfit. Corsets and teddies can be worn so they actually show in public! Oh yes, it’s true.  A corset can look stunning with the right skirt or pants for clubbing or an evening out or under a jacket for a more subtly seductive effect. Leather corsets or teddies can be worn like this casually, for more dressy occasions or even to the office. But more on the functionality of lingerie another time.

Now back to leather – you can’t distract me from my topic that easily : )

You can start your leather collection by adding a slinky leather garter belt and some sexy stockings.  Can you imagine what you would feel like walking into the office wearing a leather garter belt and stockings? I am making the assumption (and I could be wrong) that you are the only one who knows what you’ve got snugly wrapped around your hips – that’s what can give you such a feeling of confidence and allure. An even better plan is to let your lover know that you are wearing this outfit – maybe even give him/her a little flash and let them think about it all day….

Received my first leather lingerie and was so excited. Got to tell you though, what a disappointment when it didn’t fit. I thought I had ordered the right size but found it tight over my stomach. Anyways, I was able to exchange it for a larger size with no problem - except the extra shipping I had to pay - but I finally got it last Friday and wore it all weekend - I felt like a real sexpot.

Hi BBW2165 - I have to say leather and shopping for it are two of my great passions (among others).  But, I just want to mention that from my own experience, I have found it really important to measure myself and compare to the size charts on the site I’m shopping at. Some places take returns and some don’t -  so you don’t want to be out the bucks you paid. This site has some fun stuff, I particularly like the Saucy Essentials which are actually accessories and other items. The picture is an item I tend to use quite frequently! 

Your plus-size leather lingerie is great, and it’s comfortable which is a real novelty believe it or not!  We’re tired of going to department stores and malls only to be disappointed by the lack of selection and lack of products specifically designed for us.  Now we don’t have to anymore.
